Studio 24 Acting Classes

We are proud of our classes and confident in their results. All of our classes are taught by professional coaches, with our lead coaches having their own successful careers as working actors and acting coaches in Los Angeles.

What We Offer

We offer a wide variety of acting classes for talent of all ages and skill levels. We have classes for tv/film acting, commercials, and voiceovers. When your career depends on booking the job, there is Studio 24.

Cody Dorkin

Cody Dorkin is a member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and AFTRA (American Federation of Television & Radio Artists) and has worked for just about every major network and studio in LA including: NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Miramax, Universal Studios, Disney, Comedy Central, HBO, Touchstone, Lifetime, and Nickelodeon. The jobs include commercials, print, voiceovers, T.V. shows, movies, and theatre.

Mary McCusker

Mary, also a member of SAG and AFTRA, is one of LA's top acting coaches. She has been an on-set coach working on such shows and movies as: Insurgent, Nip/Tuck, Malcolm in the Middle, Disney's "UP", About a Boy, The Bernie Mac Show, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Everybody Loves Whales, and is the current set coach on the NBC drama series Parenthood and Nickelodeon's How to Rock.

This course is specifically designed for those interested in pursuing a professional career in TV & Film acting. A portion of each class is dedicated to the business side of acting. You’ll be informed on agents, managers, casting directors, the audition process, audition materials, etc. We don’t believe there is one method or acting technique that works perfectly for every actor. That’s why we expose our students to many different proven methods and techniques. This allows us to discover what works best for each individual student in achieving that unforgettable performance.

Learn everything there is to know about auditioning, preparing for, booking, and working on television commercials.

Not only is there a lot of money to be made in commercials, but it is where most actors get their professional start. It's important to understand how your physicalities translate on camera. Learn it all in this fast paced, high energy course.

Keep your child competitive in this all in one class. The class covers all areas of on camera acting including commercials, tv, film, voiceovers, cold reading, improv, and auditioning.

Private Coaching

For kids between the ages of 5 and 8 we find it is much more beneficial to do one on one private coaching. We do not work with every child and will need to evaluate your child before agreeing to work with them.
